It's Time to Celebrate the Brisket Equinox!

The observance begins on December 26, 2025, at 4:17 PM EST. Candle Lighting and Brisket Slicing (CLBS) begins at sunset - exactly halfway between the brisket eaten on the first night of Rosh Hashanah and the brisket eaten at the Passover Seder.

4		A nice brisket-scented soap, maybe?
5		If your budget allows, bring a Manischewitz gift pack set with all their great flavors.
6		And finally, celebratory containers to bring home leftovers are always cherished. Bring enough for everybody. Your host or hostess will appreciate your thoughtfulness in not depleting their limited supply of Chinese takeout containers or empty plastic sour cream containers left over from their recent latke party.
